Our contribution is excellent room acoustics.

We're super excited about our seamless acoustic spray plaster and smooth acoustic plaster as sound absorbers for ceilings and walls. With these, we enhance spaces both functionally and aesthetically, enabling great conversations and boosting well-being.

  • For perfect room acoustics, it's not just a high αw value that matters – effectiveness in the relevant frequency ranges is what's truly crucial.

Our products, like the Acospray DC3, hit an αw value of 0.45 at just 10 mm, and a full αw = 1.00 at 35 mm. We deliver measurably excellent performance across the board, from low speech frequencies (250 Hz) and the fundamental tone (500 Hz) right up to articulation and clarity ranges (1–2 kHz), easily complying with the SIA 181/1 standard.

The result: clear speech, reduced reverberation, and excellent intelligibility – even in demanding environments like studios, theaters, or conference rooms. And all this with a minimal footprint.

  • We believe in true value for money: Our acoustic systems typically range from CHF 80 to CHF 200 per m², depending on the material, layer thickness, and specific building conditions. Often, just 66% of the ceiling area is enough to achieve a 0.6 s reverberation time.

Thanks to their long lifespan, minimal maintenance, and easy repair, the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) is unbeatable. This means you invest once and benefit for years to come.

While other systems require extensive care or costly renewals, our solution remains stable, functional, and visually appealing for years. This way, you secure both acoustic excellence and cost-efficiency in one go.

  • Whether it's a subtle integration into a minimalist design or a bold design statement, our acoustic spray plaster adapts to any architectural vision. It's freely customizable in shape, color, texture, and contour: from seamless ceilings and soft vaults to complex geometries. Surfaces can appear smooth, granular, mineral, or deep black, depending on the room concept. Feel free to browse our references for inspiration.

It's ideal for new builds as well as renovations, where the acoustics seamlessly integrate into existing structures. Create unique spaces, from private rooms, offices, hotels, and hospitality venues to hospitals, sports halls, and industrial buildings. We ensure they are as acoustically impressive as they are visually.

  • Our acoustic systems don't just create quiet spaces; they also foster a healthy indoor climate. Thanks to their breathability, they naturally regulate humidity, support thermal insulation, and prevent mold growth. The surfaces are anti-allergenic – dust, bacteria, and microorganisms simply can't get a foothold.

With emission class M1, we meet the strictest health standards. The fire behavior class RF2 allows for use in almost all public areas, provided no higher fire protection requirements apply. It's ideal for schools, hospitals, administrative buildings, or assembly venues where safety and well-being need to go hand-in-hand.

  • Our cellulose base is 100% recycled. The material used is also fully recyclable, completely plastic-free, and based on natural substances. Production takes place in Central Europe with minimal energy consumption.

We are Cradle2Cradle Certified® (Bronze) and are committed to continuously improving our sustainability standards. This way, we combine top acoustic performance with ecological responsibility – ensuring that pleasant-sounding spaces also have a good future.

  • Our acoustic spray systems adhere to almost any substrate – whether it's concrete, wood, plaster, metal, and much more. Application is done via spray technique and doesn't require any complicated substructure.

Thanks to efficient application and fast drying (approx. 7–14 days), we minimize construction delays. If needed, drying can be shortened to just 2 days with dehumidifiers.

Our Swiss specialist team ensures precise execution, flexible scheduling, and quick availability. This keeps your project on schedule – and the acoustics will be just as impressive as the build quality.

  • Our acoustic surfaces are extremely low-maintenance. Dirt and grime can be easily removed without affecting their performance.

In case of damage, we can specifically repair partial areas – quickly, cleanly, and discreetly. The durable materials withstand everyday stresses for many years. This saves you effort, costs, and time in maintenance, while the acoustic quality remains permanently preserved.

  • Our acoustic spray plaster is made from cellulose fibers and a water-based binder. This makes it an extremely lightweight material (approx. 1.2 kg/m² at 10 mm) with impressive adhesive strength – 736 times its own weight.

The structure is elastic and prevents cracking by adapting to building component movements. At the same time, the surface is UV-resistant, color-stable, and breathable, contributing to a consistent appearance and a healthy indoor climate. Free from harmful additives, the material choice stands for safety, sustainability, and building physics excellence.

For architects, developers, and building acousticians, we are the first point of contact for acoustic spray and spray plaster in Switzerland. From quotation to project implementation, we support you with our typically Swiss commitment to performance.

Embracing sustainability.

Our acoustic spray plasters primarily consist of cellulose, which is wood – a material that, in this form, is not only an excellent sound absorber but also represents sustainability.

Acoustic excellence and a good room atmosphere are key outcomes for our clients. The fact that we go the extra mile for sustainability is only partially visible. Of course, certifications like Cradle2Cradle are presentable confirmations. However, what's fundamental for us is our attitude and how we, as kustik, strive for continuous sustainable improvement.

Good questions:

  • Good spaces enable good conversations, good work, and even a good life.

Good room acoustics are an essential part of good rooms. They ensure greater intelligibility, less noise and a pleasant feeling of space. They reduce stress, increase concentration and improve communication and cohesion - whether in the office, in restaurants, schools, conference rooms or living rooms.

A sensible first step towards excellent room acoustics is strong sound absorption across the entire ceiling. Acoustic spray is particularly well-suited for this purpose. It establishes a solid foundation, and any further improvements can be made later, if necessary, and adapted to the specific situation.

  • Acoustic spray plaster is a sound-absorbing plaster that's seamlessly sprayed onto ceilings and walls. Thanks to its porous structure, it absorbs sound waves and reduces reverberation in the room. This creates a more pleasant acoustic environment, improving speech intelligibility and minimizing noise pollution. This not only boosts comfort but also enhances the efficiency and well-being of people in the space.

The spray plaster, like paper, is made from cellulose and a natural, water-based adhesive.

  • The acoustic spray is highly versatile, seamlessly integrates into any design, and provides a continuous, smooth, and aesthetic surface with exceptional acoustic performance.

In contrast to acoustic panels or ceiling sails, our solution preserves architectural and design freedom while delivering superior sound absorption.

Another point: Our acoustic plaster is very sustainable. It's made from cellulose.

  • Acoustic spray plaster is versatile and suitable for spaces where a pleasant sound atmosphere is important. These include offices, restaurants, schools, hotels, supermarkets, healthcare centers, living spaces, museums, event halls, and so on.

It's particularly beneficial in large, open, or reverberant spaces, as it integrates discreetly and noticeably improves room acoustics. Even in smaller rooms, acoustic spray calms the atmosphere and creates an appealing spatial feel.

Since acoustic spray is cost-effective and environmentally friendly, it is often used in warehouses, workshops and garages.

  • We can achieve surfaces in five different textures, from 'structureless, very smooth finish' with our Acoplaster F to 'coarse-grained spray texture' with our Acospray DC3.

We offer twelve standard colors: White, Cool Grey, Concrete Grey, Anthracite, Black, Terracotta, Denim Blue, Olive Green, and the four special color blends from our Green Line product range. You're welcome to order samples of these colors and textures.

We can create your custom color by adding water-soluble pigments to the adhesive. We achieve special effects by additionally spraying on acoustic paint. With careful application, the acoustic values are maintained.

For international corporations and larger projects, we're happy to produce the cellulose fibers in a chosen, exclusive color.

  • Yes, acoustic spray plaster can be planned and applied even for existing or planned pendant lights, spotlights, ventilation pipes, cable ducts, motion sensors, WLAN devices, air conditioning systems, etc.

    • Option: Overspraying: Acoustic spray plaster can be applied to all ceiling and wall surfaces, even if technical installations are present. Thanks to its seamless application, it adapts to the existing conditions. We often apply the spray plaster directly onto installations like cable trays and ventilation ducts. This further enhances acoustic absorption, and the visual effect is often appreciated.

    • Option: Integration: Any object, be it lights, ventilation ducts, or air conditioning units, can remain accessible. In this case, we protect the objects, and the acoustic spray is carefully applied around them. With a few simple steps, we ensure a clean finish. For spotlights, motion detectors, etc., we create spacers using a 3D printer to embed them flush with the spray plaster surface.

We're happy to find the optimal solution with you for how acoustic spray plaster can be used in your project.

  • We'll guide your project from planning to execution:

    • Planning: First, we clarify the acoustic requirements and design preferences. We'll help you choose the right material type, texture, and color. By briefly inspecting the spaces, we ensure all interfaces are clear and there are no surprises.

    • Preparation: The substrate must be load-bearing, clean, and dry. Depending on its condition, a primer or bonding agent is applied to ensure optimal adhesion. We carefully protect all walls and floors with a waterproof covering.

    • Implementation: The plaster is applied in multiple layers using a spray machine. The layer thickness varies depending on the desired sound absorption and surface appearance. This is followed by controlled drying.

    • Completion: We check all surfaces and joints. If you'd like, we can also carry out an acoustic measurement. After all, we're all about excellent room acoustics combined with appealing aesthetics.

Our on-site work is usually pretty quick. Thanks to thorough preparation, our extensive experience, and our team and warehouse right here in Switzerland, we typically wrap up our projects within just a few days.

And yes, even after the project is done, we're still right here for you if any adjustments or improvements are needed.

Ultimately, what truly leads to an outstanding result is always a combination of great communication, solid preparation, quality workmanship, top-notch products, and local presence.

  • Acoustic spray plaster is low-maintenance, doesn't wear out, and barely needs any care or cleaning, even with heavy use.

If needed, the spray plaster can be easily adjusted or enhanced at a later stage.

  • We promise: Our spray plaster provides the best acoustic improvement for every franc spent.
