Acospray DC1
The DC1 impresses with an extremely fine texture. After an application of up to 20 mm, it is smoothed again. For enhanced sound absorption, an Acoboard can optionally be used as a substrate.
Acospray DC1 is available in white and in your desired color.
Specifications
Acospray DC1 is a sustainable, sound-absorbing spray plaster with a smooth finish. Its outstanding acoustic properties come from a blend of cellulose fibers combined with water-based polymers and binders. You can apply the material in a thickness of 5 to 20 mm.
To achieve very high absorption values, you can apply the spray plaster onto a mineral wool panel, resulting in a total thickness of 40mm (3mm adhesive, 30mm panel, 7mm Acospray DC1).
The material is applied using a special spray process where multiple layers are sprayed on criss-cross. To get a smooth surface, it's then troweled flat. This creates a vapor-permeable surface with a very fine texture.
Acospray DC1 can be applied to almost any substrate. Thanks to its hygroscopic properties, it's suitable for use in swimming pools or residential extensions, like balconies. After drying, the weight is a light 2 - 3 kg/m² per 10 mm application thickness.

You can remove dust and cobwebs using a vacuum cleaner with a soft textile nozzle attachment. Another option is dry ice cleaning. If you'd like, we're happy to offer a maintenance contract for both methods.

Small repairs are done manually, medium-sized repairs with our mini-machine (38 kg), and large repairs are carried out using the standard spray equipment (200 kg).
-
The material can be over-sprayed using an airless spray technique. Applying paint with a roller is not recommended.
-
After moistening and a 24-hour dwell time, the material can be easily and completely removed.

The substrate must be clean, dry, and airtight (drywall joints need to be sealed).
The surface quality of the substrate determines the flatness of the final result.
Acoprimer enhances adhesion, prevents bleeding, and stops the substrate from becoming saturated with moisture.
Junction boxes and similar components must be extended by the thickness of the insulation layer.
If a flush finish isn't achieved by a wall or window/door frame, an edge profile of at least 10 mm thickness must be installed.
Metal parts need to be pre-treated against corrosion.
Installation using mobile scaffolding or lifting platforms.
Processing temperature ≥15°C
Installations/wall sections are sprayed with a standard thickness of 10 mm.
To speed up the drying process, we recommend using fans and construction dehumidifiers; a moisture meter is provided for monitoring.
For spotlights, there are sleeves or 3D-printed constructions.
