Personal data

Personal data is information that identifies you as an individual. This includes, for example, your name, address, phone number, or email address.

We collect such data only when there is a specific reason to do so. Either you need a service from us, we have a contractual relationship—or you provide us with your data voluntarily. In certain cases, we need your name and address in order to provide you with our services. This also applies when you ask us a question or request information. We always explicitly ask you for your information in such cases. By providing your information, you consent to its respective use.

Technical Specifications

When you visit our website, your browser automatically stores certain technical information. This includes, for example: browser type and version, device type (for mobile access), screen resolution, operating system, the previously visited page (referrer), your IP address, and the time of access.

Without additional information, this data cannot be linked to any specific individual. It is stored separately from your personal data and used exclusively for statistical purposes.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

To analyze and improve our website, kustik uses the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device. They provide us with information about how you use our website. This data is typically transmitted to a Google server in the United States.

You can find more information in Google's Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

We also use Google Tag Manager (GTM). GTM helps us manage various analytics and marketing tags in one place. It makes it easier for us to integrate Google Analytics. If you have opted out, GTM will respect your choice.

Google Ads and Conversion Tracking

We use Google Ads to promote our services. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

As part of Google Ads, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad we’ve placed, a cookie is stored on your device. This cookie allows us to track whether you performed a specific action on our website after clicking the ad—such as submitting a contact request or signing up. We do not learn your identity through this process. Google simply provides us with statistical reports.

The following data may be transmitted to Google: your IP address, information about your browser and device, the page you visited, and the time of your visit.

The legal basis for the use of Google Ads is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Tracking will not be enabled without your consent via our cookie notice. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Google is a certified participant in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. In addition, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses serve as a contractual safeguard for data transfers to the United States.

You can turn off personalized ads in your Google settings: https://adssettings.google.com

For more information, please see Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

Browser plugin and objection

You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings. Please note, however, that this may limit certain features of our website.

You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data. To do so, download the following browser plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

IP anonymization

We use Google Analytics’ IP anonymization feature. This means that your IP address is truncated within the EU or the EEA before it is transmitted. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the U.S. and truncated there. Your IP address is not combined with other Google data.

Google Maps

Our website uses Google Maps for interactive maps and directions. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

When you visit a page that includes Google Maps, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google’s servers. In the process, data such as the date, time, the URL of the page you visited, and your IP address may be transmitted to Google. We have no control over how Google processes this data.

You can prevent this by disabling JavaScript in your browser. However, the map view will then not be available. For more information, please see Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

SSL encryption

To protect your data, kustik uses SSL encryption. You can recognize this by the “https://” in the address bar and the padlock icon in your browser. When encryption is active, third parties cannot read the data you transmit.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. They help us make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies do not harm your device and do not contain viruses. You can control the use of cookies in your browser settings—you can accept them, confirm them individually, or reject them. If you reject cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

CookieYes

We use CookieYes to manage your cookie settings. This tool displays a cookie notice when you first visit our website. There, you can choose which cookies you want to allow. Your selection is saved so you won’t be asked again on every visit. For more information, please see the CookieYes Privacy Policy: https://www.cookieyes.com/privacy-policy/

This processing is necessary to display the website to you. For more information, please see Squarespace’s Privacy Policy: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy

Your rights

Withdrawal of your consent

Many data processing activities are only possible with your explicit consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

Right to file a complaint

If there are violations of the GDPR or the Swiss Data Protection Act, you have the right to file a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. This applies in particular to the place of your habitual residence, your workplace, or the location of the alleged violation.

Right to data portability

You have the right to receive data that we process automatically based on your consent or to fulfill a contract in a commonly used, machine-readable format. Upon request, we will also transfer this data directly to another controller—provided that this is technically feasible.

Access, Deletion, and Correction

You have the right at any time to request, free of charge, information about your stored data, its source, recipients, and the purpose of its processing. You also have the right to have your data corrected or deleted. To do so, please contact us at the address listed in the legal notice.

Right to restriction of processing

You may request that the processing of your data be restricted. This is possible in the following cases: You dispute the accuracy of your data—you may request restriction for the duration of the review. The processing was unlawful—you may request restriction instead of erasure. We no longer need your data, but you need it to assert legal claims. You have lodged an objection under Article 21(1) of the GDPR—you may request restriction until the matter is clarified.

If processing has been restricted, your data may—apart from storage—only be processed with your consent or to assert legal claims.
